She was born on February 29, 1932, in Wells County to the late Thomas W. and Mabel L. (Uffert) Miller. On June 5, 1953, Pat married Richard E. Carl, and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2009.

Pat retired from RCA in 1984 after 22 years.  Prior to her employment with RCA, Pat worked at Tipton Hospital and Marion General Hospital.  She was also a tax aid volunteer for AARP.  Pat was a very private person but was also the first one to lend a helping hand.  She loved her grandsons and loved attending their school activities and sporting events.

Special thanks to Dr. Tom Miller and his wife, Denise for their loving care along with the staff of the Transitional Care Unit of Riverview Hospital.

Carl, Carmel; several nieces and nephews and special nephew and niece, Dr. Tom Miller and Denise Miller, Noblesville; and sister-in-law, Susie Miller, Marion.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by brothers, Clyde R. Miller and Paul F. Miller, and two sisters, Helen Courter and Mary A. King.
