CSA Alex L. Parks Endowment Fund

Fund Purpose:
To provide support to the Community School of the Arts, Inc., Marion.

Fund Story:
This fund was created in 2006 to provide support to the Marion Community School of the Arts (CSA). CSA works to make experiencing art at the highest level affordable for our community. CSA presents an interdisciplinary arts program for arts enjoyment, education, and participation in the visual, literary, and performing arts with commitment to excellence, fiscal responsibility, and availability for all people. "Alex L. Parks was a lover of the arts. Several incredibly kind donations from an angel afar were made on his behalf to CSA. A large portion of this donation goes towards scholarships to students to take classes designed to inspire them to explore their artistic abilities. This Endowment fund helps balance the importance of both opportunities for the students, as well as support the essential home for the artists, teachers, families, students and community."
